Dell 1710n provides print quality for most tested fonts easy to read on 5 points or smaller. If only one more can be read at 4 points, Dell 1700n will get good marks. Graphics quality is the best we've seen recently for monochrome lasers. Even with the light posterization and dithering, we rate it very good. Photo quality was just fair, with a light dithering pattern and aliasing seen from the straight side.
